Kuwait Crown Prince Backs Pakistan Role in Iran-US Talks

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, during which both leaders discussed the evolving Middle East situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong condemnation of recent attacks on Kuwait and expressed solidarity with its people. He also conveyed condolences over the loss of lives and wished a speedy recovery for those injured.

The prime minister briefed the Kuwaiti leadership on Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at facilitating dialogue between Iran and United States, emphasizing Islamabad’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.

The Kuwaiti crown prince praised Pakistan’s leadership and expressed full support for its mediation efforts between Tehran and Washington. He also thanked Pakistan for its solidarity with Kuwait during the ongoing crisis.

In addition, the crown prince acknowledged a recent letter of support from the Pakistani prime minister and expressed his desire to visit Pakistan once the regional situation stabilizes.

Prime Minister Sharif reiterated that Pakistan would continue to play a constructive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and regional stability amid escalating geopolitical tensions.
