Trump says progress is being made between Israel and Lebanon

Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has said he believes progress is being made in efforts to ease tensions between Israel and Lebanon, adding that Lebanon deserves lasting peace.

Speaking on the ongoing regional situation, Trump told reporters that diplomatic discussions have been “going on for a long time,” but suggested recent developments indicate movement toward potential progress.

His remarks come amid continued international efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East and promote stability along the Israel-Lebanon border.
