PM Shehbaz says Pakistan optimistic on US-Iran talks progress

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan remains optimistic about positive progress in ongoing talks between the United States and Iran, as he chaired a federal cabinet meeting to review the country’s political, economic, and security situation.

According to official sources, the prime minister briefed cabinet members on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating dialogue between Washington and Tehran, highlighting Islamabad’s role in bringing both sides to the negotiating table after decades.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan is hopeful the negotiations will yield constructive outcomes and contribute to regional stability.

The federal cabinet praised the prime minister’s diplomatic initiatives, as well as the contributions of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and military leadership for supporting the peace process.

Officials emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to promoting dialogue and reducing tensions, particularly amid heightened geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East.
