Pakistani Cadet Wins Top Award at Australian Military Academy

Canberra, Australia – Web Desk: A Pakistani military cadet has achieved a major international distinction after being named the overall Best Foreign Military Cadet at Australia’s premier officer training institution.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Cadet Sardar Arsam Abbas of the Pakistan Army was awarded the prestigious title at the Royal Military College, Duntroon during a passing-out parade held on May 5 in Canberra.

The commissioning parade was reviewed by Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, Chief of the Australian Army, and attended by diplomatic officials, the Pakistani High Commissioner, families of graduating cadets, and senior members of the Australian Defence Force.

The Best Foreign Military Cadet award is presented to an international cadet who demonstrates outstanding performance across all aspects of training, including leadership, discipline, and academic excellence.

Officials said the recognition reflects the professionalism, dedication, and high training standards of the Pakistan Army’s young leadership.

With this achievement, Sardar Arsam Abbas becomes the 14th Pakistani cadet to receive this honor at the academy, further strengthening Pakistan’s reputation in global military training excellence.
