Pakistan President Approves Senate, NA Sessions Schedule

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the convening of sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly, setting the stage for key legislative activity and political debate.

According to official details, the Senate session will be held on May 7, while the National Assembly session is scheduled for May 11. Lawmakers are expected to deliberate on significant legislation as well as the country’s evolving political landscape.

Parliamentary proceedings are also likely to focus on governance challenges, economic issues, and policy priorities ahead of the upcoming fiscal cycle.

Separately, the National Assembly’s budget session is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2026, where the federal budget for the next fiscal year will be presented and debated. The session is expected to continue for approximately four weeks before approval.
