Iran Warns US Against Pressure, Threatens Regional Retaliation

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: A senior Iranian official has stated that Tehran will not show any flexibility under U.S. pressure, even as Pakistan facilitates ongoing communications between the two nations, according to international news agencies.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that Qatar relayed a Tehran message to Washington and other regional countries on Monday, warning that targeting Iran’s power plants would plunge the region, including Saudi Arabia, into complete darkness due to retaliatory strikes.

Sources further warned that, if the situation spirals out of control, Iran’s allies could also block the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, escalating regional tensions and disrupting critical maritime trade routes.

The warning comes amid heightened U.S.–Iran tensions, as diplomatic efforts continue through third-party mediation to avert further escalation.
