Iran Denies Role in Attack on US Embassy in Riyadh

Date:

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) has denied any involvement in the reported attack on the United States Embassy in Riyadh, amid rising regional tensions.

In an official statement, Iranian military officials rejected allegations linking Tehran to the incident, calling them “baseless” and reaffirming that Iran condemns such attacks. The statement emphasized that Iran had no role in targeting diplomatic facilities.

Earlier, a report by The Wall Street Journal claimed that Iranian drones were used in the attack on the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia. According to the report, two drones allegedly bypassed Riyadh’s air defense systems, entered the embassy compound, and detonated.

However, Iranian authorities dismissed the report, maintaining that accusations against its armed forces are unfounded.

The development comes as tensions escalate following a joint military operation by the United States and Israel against Iran. In response, Iran has launched missile strikes on Israeli territory and targeted US military bases in parts of the Gulf region.

The situation remains volatile, with diplomatic and military developments closely monitored by the international community.
