Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Web Desk: Pakistan’s rising squash talent Mahnoor Ali has secured a place in the final of the International Junior Squash Championship after an impressive semi-final victory.
Competing in Kuala Lumpur, Mahnoor defeated Asia’s top-ranked and second-seeded Singaporean player Jacinta Han in a closely contested match. The young Pakistani athlete delivered a strong performance, winning 3-2 to book her spot in the final.
Mahnoor, the youngest among the Ali sisters from Peshawar, showcased resilience and composure under pressure, keeping her title hopes alive in the prestigious event, which is part of the Asian Junior Super Series.
Meanwhile, her elder sister Sehrish Ali was eliminated in the semi-finals after losing 3-1 to Malaysia’s top-ranked player Mohamad Khairulnizam Misrah in a competitive encounter.
Mahnoor Ali will now aim to clinch the championship title, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan in junior squash on the international stage.
