WASHINGTON – Web Desk: US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the formation of the first bilateral Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force with the United Arab Emirates, aimed at advancing modern technology use in the defense sector and enhancing joint capabilities.
According to a CENTCOM statement, an agreement has been reached between the US and UAE, with the joint AI Task Force set to begin regular operations in the coming weeks. The task force will include 20 expert personnel from both countries specializing in artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity.
The initiative aims to accelerate the development and operationalization of military AI applications to enhance defense capabilities through modern technology. CENTCOM stated that this joint task force will give defense cooperation between the two countries a new dimension and will play a key role in future technology-based military projects.
