Free VPN apps claim to offer privacy and security at no cost, but cybersecurity experts caution that many of these services expose users to significant risks.
Hidden tracking, malware, and covert data harvesting are some of the most common threats associated with “free” VPN providers.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) started blocking those URLs and websites that were involved in spreading immoral content. These websites are being blocked after verification.

The Hindu reported that VPN was suspended for two months in Rajouri and Poonch districts of occupied Kashmir due to security concerns.
As billions of rupees in taxes and fees are transferred abroad through unregistered VPNs. Registered VPNs are becoming a heavy burden not only on national security but also on the treasury.
Illegal VPNs are not only increasing the load on the internet but also slowing down the speed. Terrorists are taking full advantage of the use of uncertified VPNs, which require immediate remediation.
Only using a PTA-approved and registered VPN can protect Pakistan from serious threats. PTA has begun issuing licenses to vetted VPN companies in Pakistan. It is important to understand the dangers of using unregistered or unidentified.
