Japan – Web Desk: Pakistan suffered a 3-2 defeat against Malaysia in their second match of the Under-18 Hockey Asia Cup currently being held in Japan.
The contest was closely fought, with both sides displaying strong performances, but Malaysia edged ahead to secure the win.
Pakistan had started the tournament on a positive note, defeating China 3-0 in their opening match. Despite the setback, the team remains in contention and will play their third group-stage match against Bangladesh on June 3.
The Under-18 Hockey Asia Cup features top junior teams from across Asia competing for the continental title in Japan.
