Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Say 28 Ships Successfully Passed Through Strait of Hormuz in 24 Hours

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said that 28 vessels safely transited the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours, according to an official statement.

The IRGC Navy stated that the ships, including oil tankers, container vessels and other commercial carriers, passed through the strategic waterway under its surveillance and security monitoring.

In a statement carried by Iran’s Fars News Agency, the IRGC said that control and oversight of the Strait of Hormuz continues with “stability, strength and full authority” to ensure security and order in one of the world’s most critical maritime routes.

The Strait of Hormuz is a key global energy corridor through which a significant portion of the world’s oil shipments pass daily. Any disruption in the region is closely watched by international markets due to its potential impact on global energy prices.
