Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Abbas Araghchi has stated that Iran respects Saudi Arabia and considers it a “brotherly nation,” emphasizing that Tehran’s recent actions are directed solely against what he described as “aggressive enemy forces.”
In remarks reported by media, Araghchi said the adversaries targeted by Iran neither respect Arab nations nor Iranians, and are incapable of ensuring regional security. He stressed that Iran’s military operations are not aimed at neighboring countries but at hostile elements in the region.
The Iranian foreign minister also referred to recent military developments, claiming that Iranian forces had struck and destroyed an enemy command and control center, including elements of its air command infrastructure.
Araghchi further stated that the time has come for United States forces to withdraw from the region, a position long held by Tehran amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
His comments come at a time of heightened geopolitical strain, as regional powers navigate escalating conflict dynamics and shifting alliances.
