Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a series of military operations targeting US forces in the Gulf region, including an alleged strike in the United Arab Emirates that it says killed 37 American personnel.
In a statement reported by Iranian media, the IRGC said its naval forces targeted a location in the UAE where US military officers were reportedly holding a meeting. The group claimed that 37 US troops were killed and several others injured in the attack. There has been no independent confirmation of these claims from US or UAE officials.
The IRGC further stated that its naval forces carried out five large-scale operations since early morning, targeting US military installations in the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Separately, Iran claimed that a drone strike targeted the USS Abraham Lincoln in the northern Indian Ocean, forcing the aircraft carrier to retreat. These claims have also not been independently verified.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, raising concerns about a broader regional escalation involving Iran, the United States, and their allies.
