Iran-US-Israel Conflict Enters Day 34: Strikes, Casualties Reported

Date:

Tehran/Washington/Tel Aviv – Web Desk: The Iran-US-Israel conflict has entered its 34th day, with military operations continuing across the Middle East. Tensions have intensified as both sides exchange strikes, leading to casualties and infrastructure damage.

US President Donald Trump claimed in a national address that the United States has achieved most of its war objectives and that the mission would soon be completed. He also stated that Iran had requested a ceasefire, a claim rejected by Tehran.

Iranian officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, emphasized that Iran holds no enmity against the people of the US, Europe, or neighboring countries. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi reiterated that confidence in negotiations with the United States is zero.

Iranian media reports indicate that US and Israeli airstrikes continue across Tehran, Isfahan, and other cities, while Iranian forces respond with missile and drone attacks. Former Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi was reportedly severely injured in an attack, while his wife was killed.

In the Gulf, the UAE said it intercepted missiles and drones fired by Iran. A tanker near Qatar was targeted, with no casualties reported. In Israel, Iranian missile attacks near Tel Aviv injured at least 14 people despite defensive measures. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has signaled continuation of hostilities.

Elsewhere, Israeli strikes in Lebanon killed at least seven people, including a Hezbollah commander, while an airstrike on a military base in Iraq killed seven and injured 13.

The World Bank has warned of serious impacts on the global economy, including inflation, unemployment, and food supply disruptions. Following President Trump’s remarks about the imminent conclusion of the conflict, global stock markets improved and oil prices fell.

Analysts caution that without successful diplomatic intervention, the crisis could escalate further across the region.
