Web Desk: Karachi, Pakistan – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the “Maarka-e-Haq” was not only a victory of weapons but also a triumph of resolve, courage, and national unity.
Addressing a ceremony related to Maarka-e-Haq, Bilawal Bhutto said that a year ago Pakistan was facing uncertainty, while its adversaries believed they could divide and defeat the country. He said such assumptions reflected a lack of understanding of Pakistan’s resilience.
He praised the armed forces, stating that they defended the country with courage, discipline, and dignity, and achieved success on the battlefield. According to him, the victory was a result of collective strength and national solidarity.
Bilawal Bhutto said Pakistan would neither surrender nor compromise on its sovereignty, adding that the success demonstrated unity from the northern mountains to the shores of the Arabian Sea.
He described Maarka-e-Haq as a “golden chapter” in Pakistan’s history and highlighted the role of diplomats, saying they effectively represented Pakistan’s position on the international stage during the crisis.
He further stated that history is not made by noise but by responsibility and results, stressing the need to further strengthen the country after such achievements.
Bilawal added that Pakistan seeks peace, but it must be based on mutual respect and equality. He said the country is not one that compromises under pressure, and has emerged stronger through trials and sacrifices.
