Washington, D.C., USA – Web Desk: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will participate in the prestigious National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., today. U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to address the event, emphasizing faith and unity.
Bilawal has previously attended the event, following in the footsteps of his late mother and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who was a regular participant. The annual event, held on the first Thursday of February, promotes love, reconciliation, and interfaith dialogue.
Hosted at the Hilton Hotel’s International Ballroom, the event has featured speeches from world leaders, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Albanian-Indian nun Mother Teresa, and Bono, lead singer of U2. The National Prayer Breakfast Foundation, led by co-chairpersons from the U.S. Congress, organizes the two-day event attended by nearly 3,500 guests from over 100 countries.
This year’s honorary co-chairpersons are Senator Kristen Gillibrand and Senator Roger Marshall. Invitations are extended via the National Prayer Breakfast Foundation and facilitated through members of Congress.
