Baghdad, Iraq – Web Desk: The U.S. Central Command has confirmed that all six personnel aboard a KC-135 refueling aircraft were killed after it crashed in western Iraq. Officials clarified that the incident was not caused by hostile action.

The aircraft, designed to refuel other military planes in-flight, was reportedly conducting a routine refueling mission. While early reports initially confirmed four fatalities with two personnel missing, subsequent search and rescue operations confirmed that all six service members perished.

Central Command stated that the identities of the crew will be released after approval from their families. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the crash. It remains unclear which aircraft was receiving fuel at the time of the accident.
