Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, questioned party leaders over plans to approve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget before consulting him.
According to reports, Aleema Khan interrupted a discussion on the provincial budget when Chief Minister-designate Sohail Afridi spoke about passing the budget. She asked why the budget process was moving forward without first arranging a meeting with Imran Khan.
Aleema Khan said that Imran Khan had also requested discussions on the budget before its approval last year. She urged party leaders to ensure a meeting with the PTI founder ahead of any budget-related decisions.
She further stated that Imran Khan had been kept in isolation, describing the situation as unlawful and unconstitutional. Her remarks come amid ongoing political debate over PTI’s strategy and the upcoming budget process in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The development highlights internal discussions within PTI regarding consultation with the party’s founder on key political and financial decisions.
