Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has recalled official staff and vehicles assigned to the residences of transferred judges Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Babar Sattar after they assumed duties at other high courts.
According to sources, gardeners, cooks, domestic staff, and drivers provided by the Islamabad High Court were withdrawn from the judges’ residences in the federal capital on Monday. Both judges officially joined the Peshawar High Court and Lahore High Court on the same day.
Sources further stated that one vehicle allocated for family use at each residence had also been taken back by the Islamabad High Court administration.
The IHC Registrar Office said the decision was made in accordance with legal procedures and administrative rules, adding that the judges had been transferred to other high courts where official facilities would now be provided to them.
However, security personnel deployed outside the residences of both judges have reportedly not been withdrawn so far.
Meanwhile, Saman Rafat Imtiaz had earlier returned all official staff and vehicles before joining the Sindh High Court.
