Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) said on Wednesday they had arrested five alleged members of the notorious “Tees Maar Khan and Commando Group” during an intelligence-based operation in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area.

According to a statement issued by Sindh Rangers, the suspects were identified as Gulfam alias Sunny, Muhammad Shan, Dawood, Ashraf alias Pannu, and Ismail. Authorities said the group was allegedly involved in multiple robbery and street crime incidents across Karachi.

Rangers recovered one unlicensed .30 bore pistol, two licensed 9mm pistols, five magazines, 28 rounds of ammunition, mobile phones, and cash from the suspects during the raid.

Officials said the gang had been active in several areas including Hyderi Market, Godhra Chowk, Gulberg Town, Serena Mobile Market, Nazimabad, and nearby localities. The suspects were allegedly involved in robberies, motorcycle and car snatching, rickshaw theft, and mobile phone snatching incidents.

According to investigators, one of the arrested suspects, Muhammad Shan, was also involved in supplying illegal weapons to criminal groups and trading stolen motorcycles.

Sindh Rangers claimed the gang was linked to approximately 450 to 500 robbery incidents and had allegedly snatched millions of rupees, motorcycles, and mobile phones from citizens. Authorities further stated that several civilians were injured while resisting robbery attempts carried out by the group.

The arrested suspects have reportedly been handed over to police along with recovered weapons and other seized items for further legal proceedings. Rangers officials added that efforts are underway to arrest other members of the gang.

Authorities also urged citizens to report criminal activity through Rangers helpline 1101 or the official WhatsApp complaint number.
