Washington, USA – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has said that a deal with Iran is expected soon, but emphasized that Washington will not accept a rushed or “bad deal” under any circumstances.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said negotiations with Iran are progressing and that any agreement would be superior to the 2015 nuclear deal signed under former President Barack Obama. He added that the world would “be proud” of the outcome.
The US President also stated that a naval blockade against Iran will remain in place until a final agreement is reached. He further claimed that senior US officials, including Vice President JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, are scheduled to travel to Islamabad for related discussions.
Trump warned that if no agreement is reached by Wednesday, the situation could escalate toward conflict. He dismissed media reports suggesting he is under pressure to finalize a deal, calling them “false narratives.”
He also criticized Democratic leaders, describing them as weak and accusing them of undermining US military and administration achievements. Trump said the US is “winning at a very large scale” and rejected claims that Iran holds any advantage in the ongoing tensions.
The statement comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts involving multiple global stakeholders.
