Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran will not surrender under external pressure and stressed that the Iranian nation does not bow to force.
In a recent statement, Pezeshkian said the lack of trust between Iran and the United States is rooted in long-standing historical mistrust. He added that inconsistent and unconstructive signals from US officials send negative messages and undermine the possibility of meaningful dialogue.
He emphasized that credible negotiations can only be based on mutual respect and the fulfillment of commitments. According to him, Iran expects agreements to be honored rather than violated.
The Iranian president further stated that while the United States seeks “surrender,” the Iranian people have historically resisted pressure and will not submit to power-based coercion.
His remarks come amid ongoing regional tensions and stalled diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington.
