Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the EU move a “serious strategic error,” while Iran’s military described it as irresponsible and biased, accusing the EU of blindly following US and Israeli policies. In response, Iran has announced naval drills in the Strait of Hormuz on February 1–2, signaling heightened regional tensions.
