Prime Minister, Field Marshal draw global attention at WEF

(Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have emerged as key figures of interest among world leaders attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum is currently underway in Davos, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, participating in the high-level global gathering. Both leaders have remained a focal point of attention for international participants at the forum.

The prime minister and the Field Marshal held several informal and cordial interactions with global leaders on the sidelines of the event. They met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir also attended the special address delivered by US President Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum. Warm exchanges, smiles, and friendly discussions were witnessed during their informal engagements with other international leaders.
