Trump Orders US Navy to Target All Mine Boats in Hormuz

Date:

WASHINGTON, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump said he has directed the United States Navy to target any vessel involved in laying naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a brief statement, Trump said both small and large boats engaged in placing mines in the strategic waterway would be targeted by US forces.

The order comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran, with global shipping and oil markets closely monitoring developments in the region.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical maritime routes for global oil shipments, and any escalation in the area could have major consequences for international trade and energy prices.
