Islamabad court orders former KP minister to be presented in audio leak case.
Islamabad: A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in connection with the high-profile audio leak case. The order was passed by Additional District & Sessions Judge Nasr Minallah Baloch at the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad.
The court directed authorities to arrest and present Ali Amin Gandapur before the court. While a co-accused named in the case appeared, Gandapur’s absence delayed the framing of charges. The next hearing has been scheduled for February 21.
The case is registered at Golra Police Station, and the proceedings include steps to declare Gandapur an absconder due to his non-appearance. The audio leak case has generated significant public and political attention, highlighting issues of transparency, accountability, and legal enforcement involving senior politicians.
This development is expected to further intensify political discourse and could have major implications for accountability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governance. Authorities are preparing to ensure compliance with court orders and maintain legal procedure integrity.
