Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that the world considers it a matter of pride to be associated with Pakistan, while describing the situation across the border as one marked by “isolation and disgrace.”
Speaking at a commemorative event for “Ma’arka-e-Haq,” Tarar said Pakistan today holds a position of respect and dignity on the global stage. He added that people around the world take pride in associating themselves with Pakistan, crediting the country’s policies and actions for building a positive international image.
Referring to regional tensions, he said Pakistan has consistently demonstrated strength and resilience, claiming that its defence capabilities and strategic decisions have proven effective in challenging circumstances. He also alleged that the neighbouring country promotes hostility while failing to acknowledge incidents of terrorism within Pakistan.
The minister highlighted Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts and security challenges, stating that the country has faced major incidents but continues to move forward. He praised the role of the armed forces and media in shaping national narratives and responding to external criticism.
Tarar further said Pakistan’s youth and digital engagement have played a key role in countering misinformation and strengthening the country’s position in the information space. He added that Pakistan remains committed to progress, stability, and development despite regional challenges.
