Washington, United States – Web Desk: US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has openly defended Israel’s military actions in Gaza, including the killing of Palestinian children, during a recent interview.
Speaking with political commentator Tucker Carlson, Graham was asked about the civilian casualties in Gaza since the October 7, 2025 attacks, including the deaths of women, children, and non-combatant families. In response, Graham compared Israel’s actions to World War II Allied bombings, stating that extreme measures were justified to defend the Jewish state’s existence.
Graham highlighted the October 7 incident, where 1,200 people were killed and attacked by radical Islamist militants, claiming it posed an existential threat to Israel. He asserted that the destruction in Gaza is comparable to the Allied bombings of Berlin and Tokyo, emphasizing that Israel had no alternative to achieve military success against extremism.
The Senator added that most Republicans share his perspective and that when it comes to radical Islamist threats, the party consistently supports Israel.
Graham’s comments have sparked international debate, drawing attention to the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, the ethics of wartime civilian casualties, and the influence of US lawmakers on Middle East policy.
