US Military Stops Another Ship Headed to Iranian Port, CENTCOM Says

Date:

WASHINGTON – Web Desk: The United States military has prevented another ship from reaching an Iranian port, according to a statement issued by US Central Command (CENTCOM) accompanied by images of two vessels.

CENTCOM said the action is part of ongoing US blockade measures. Maritime traffic data indicates that MT Stream is an Iranian-flagged tanker.

Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned US seizures of Iranian oil tankers at sea. A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry described US actions as “maritime piracy” and an attempt to give legal cover to illegal measures.
