Kampala, Uganda – Web Desk: Uganda’s Army Chief, General Mehodi Kaynirogaba, has publicly offered his country’s military support to Israel amid escalating tensions with Iran. Speaking to international media, Kaynirogaba stated that Uganda’s armed forces stand ready to assist Israel “at a moment’s notice” if required.
The general emphasized that while peace in the Middle East is desirable, Uganda will intervene if Israel faces attempts at destruction or military defeat. With approximately 45,000 personnel, Uganda’s military is prepared to mobilize in support of Israel.
General Kaynirogaba, who is also the son of President Yoweri Museveni, is known for his outspoken and often controversial statements on social media. Defense analysts have warned that Uganda’s involvement could further heighten tensions in the already volatile region, as other nations may follow suit.
