Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urges pride in Pakistan’s cultural heritage

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has underscored the importance of preserving cultural heritage, stating that Pakistan is enriched with a diverse and multifaceted civilization.

In his message marking the World Heritage Day, the prime minister said the global recognition of cultural heritage highlights its significance in shaping societies.

He noted that cultural heritage reflects social diversity, preserves the past, represents the present, and lays the foundation for the future. Pakistan, he added, is home to some of the world’s oldest civilizations, showcasing human creativity and cultural richness.

Sharif urged citizens, particularly the youth, to take pride in their heritage and actively contribute to its protection and promotion.

He emphasized that cultural heritage forms the core of national identity and unity, calling on all Pakistanis to safeguard and celebrate this invaluable national asset.
