Abu Dhabi, UAE – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates has announced eased entry rules for residents holding expired visas, allowing them to return without obtaining a new visa. The decision covers residents stranded abroad, including those from Pakistan.
According to a UAE government spokesperson, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) has validated the new measures, providing temporary relief and flexibility for those with expired residency permits.
The move aims to facilitate the return of residents who were previously unable to enter the UAE due to visa expirations, ensuring smoother re-entry and reducing bureaucratic hurdles. Authorities confirmed that the policy applies to all affected residents seeking to resume life in the UAE.
