Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan and China have agreed to strengthen joint efforts to ensure lasting peace and regional stability amid shared security challenges. The discussion took place between Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, and his Chinese counterpart, Yue Xiaoyong, following Yue’s return from Kabul.
During the meeting, both sides identified terrorist groups such as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) as common threats. They emphasized the need for coordinated action to mitigate these risks and promote sustainable security in the region.
Mohammad Sadiq stated via social media that both countries acknowledged the critical role of cooperation in addressing cross-border terrorism and reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative measures for long-term peace and stability.
