Trump Issues 48-Hour Ultimatum to Iran

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a fresh 48-hour ultimatum to Iran, warning of severe military consequences if a deal is not reached within the stated timeframe.

In a statement posted on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump said Iran had previously been given 10 days to agree to a deal or reopen the Strait of Hormuz. “Time is running out,” he said, adding that only 48 hours remain before what he described as a decisive response.

Trump reiterated earlier warnings that failure to comply could result in strikes targeting critical infrastructure, including power plants, oil facilities, and desalination plants.

The latest remarks come amid escalating hostilities between the United States, Israel, and Iran, following the start of military operations on February 28. Since then, both sides have exchanged strikes, with Iran targeting U.S. bases in the region and Israeli territory in retaliation.

Trump has repeatedly called for a ceasefire agreement, coupling diplomatic pressure with strong warnings of potential military escalation. His latest statement signals a further hardening of Washington’s stance as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
