Tarawih Prayers Held at New York’s Times Square, Video Viral

New York, United States – Web Desk: Hundreds of Muslims gathered at Times Square in New York City to perform congregational Tarawih prayers during the holy month of Ramadan, creating spiritually uplifting scenes that have gone viral on social media.

According to international media reports, this marks the fifth time that Tarawih prayers have been organized at the iconic public square. Participants also performed Maghrib prayers and Iftar before Tarawih, with organizers distributing meals to around 2,000 needy individuals.

Special security and crowd management arrangements were in place, and participants described the initiative as a powerful example of interfaith coexistence. Videos of the event have gone viral, with many calling it a positive message against Islamophobia and a historic moment for Muslims worldwide.
