MUMBAI, India – Web Desk: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has spoken about the influence of veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, stating that his own success and identity in the film industry are closely linked to the senior writer’s guidance and legacy.
The remarks came amid reports regarding Salim Khan’s health. The 90-year-old writer was recently admitted to Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai after suffering a brain hemorrhage and was subsequently moved to the intensive care unit.
Medical sources confirmed that the hemorrhage was minor and that a small procedure was performed successfully. According to Dr. Jalil D. Parker, Salim Khan’s condition has shown improvement, though he remains on a ventilator for continuous monitoring due to age-related recovery considerations.
Family members, including wife Salma Khan and Helen, and sons Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and Sohail Khan, have been present at the hospital to provide support.
