RAWALPINDI – Web Desk: Security forces have killed 48 Khwarij over a 72-hour period during intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Based on secret intelligence, security forces targeted multiple Khwarij hideouts in and around Miranshah. Intense clashes resulted in the elimination of 21 more India-sponsored Fitna Al-Khawarij terrorists, including four key commanders — Khalid Raza alias Salar, Muftun, Musa, and Imran alias Ayan.
The killed commanders were highly wanted for multiple terrorist activities, including the murder of security personnel and innocent civilians. Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered. Clearance operations against remaining Khwarij will continue under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their successful operations, professional skills, and bravery, stating that the elimination of India-sponsored Khwarij leaders is a significant achievement against the terrorist network.
