Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said India has been unable to accept what he described as its defeat against Pakistan and is now talking about a possible “Operation Sindoor 2.”
Addressing a meeting of the parliamentary party, Bilawal Bhutto claimed that India had launched an attack against Pakistan last year but failed to achieve its objectives. He said India was now seeking ways to weaken Pakistan and had begun discussing a second phase of Operation Sindoor.
The PPP chairman also spoke about the federal budget, saying that budgets are often presented under challenging circumstances and that Pakistan’s security environment remained one of the country’s most significant concerns.
Bilawal said the parliamentary party meeting reviewed key national issues, including the federal budget, the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, and the situation in Kashmir.
He further revealed that the party had initially considered staying away from the budget session until its concerns were addressed. However, following discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, assurances were provided that the party’s reservations would be resolved promptly, leading to participation in the session.
