Salman Khan Spends Hours Consoling Heart Transplant Patient

Date:

Mumbai, India – Web Desk: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan provided emotional support to a fan for hours before her heart transplant, highlighting his compassion beyond the screen.

Rina Raju, a two-time heart transplant survivor from Karnataka, shared her story on the “Voice of Bangalore” podcast with RJ Sujanya. She revealed that prior to her first transplant, she contacted Salman Khan through his personal number. Despite receiving countless messages from around the world, the actor responded personally.

Rina said Salman was in Australia shooting at the time but called her back to talk for nearly two hours. During the conversation, he encouraged her and offered guidance, helping her navigate one of the most challenging periods of her life.

After a two-year hiatus in communication, Rina reached out again to inform Salman about her new post-transplant support initiative, “Light A Life.” Salman immediately recognized her.

The duo first met in 2018, after Rina’s second heart transplant, at Salman’s residence in Mumbai. Rina expected a brief ten-minute meeting, but it turned into a memorable encounter, emphasizing the actor’s empathy and dedication to helping others in need.

Salman Khan, widely known for his blockbuster films and philanthropic efforts, rarely receives media coverage for such personal acts of kindness, making this revelation particularly noteworthy.
