Russia Offers Mediation to Ease Pakistan-Afghanistan Tensions

Moscow – Web Desk: Russia has called on Pakistan and Afghanistan to immediately halt cross-border clashes and resolve their differences through diplomatic channels.

According to RIA Novosti, the Russian Foreign Ministry urged both countries to exercise restraint and reduce tensions. The ministry added that if requested, Russia is willing to play a mediating role to help ease the conflict.

Russia emphasized that regional stability and peace are in everyone’s interest, warning that ongoing clashes could threaten security in South Asia. Moscow’s statement highlights growing international concern over escalating Pak-Afghan border tensions.
