Russia Accuses UK, France of Supplying Nuclear Tech to Ukraine

Date:

Moscow/Kyiv – Web Desk: Russia has accused the United Kingdom and France of preparing to supply Ukraine with nuclear-related technology and components, though neither country has confirmed or officially denied the allegations. The Russian Foreign Ministry warned that a direct military confrontation between nuclear powers could have grave consequences.

Earlier, Russian intelligence claimed that the UK and France were secretly aiding Ukraine. France rejected these claims, calling them baseless.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reaffirmed his country’s commitment to defense and appealed for additional support from allied nations. Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of obstructing peace efforts.

Entering the fifth year of the war, G7 leaders—including U.S. President Donald Trump—reiterated their commitment to supporting Ukraine. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen assured that the EU will continue providing financial aid to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue missile and drone strikes across multiple regions of Ukraine, damaging energy infrastructure and civilian facilities.
