Rajanpur, Punjab – Web Desk: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that the Kacha region of Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan has been completely cleared of criminal elements following a decisive security operation.
Addressing a meeting on the operation, Maryam Nawaz said that criminals had created a “state within a state,” instilling fear and abducting people through honey traps. She emphasized that the operation restored law and order without any casualties.
“The operation was challenging, but with the support of the Pakistan Army, police, and law enforcement agencies, each criminal was tracked using advanced technology,” she stated. Drones and modern surveillance tools were deployed to monitor movements, while the Sindh Police and government also provided substantial assistance.
Maryam Nawaz confirmed that over 500 criminals surrendered, marking a significant step toward public safety in Punjab. She warned that there would be no safe haven for those who challenge the state’s authority.
“This region has transformed from a fear zone into a law-abiding area. Punjab is now safer, and state authority has been fully restored,” she added.
