Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said it will not accept the transfer of its founding chairman to a hospital without the presence of at least one family member and his personal physicians, warning the government of responsibility for any adverse outcome.
Responding to reports that the former prime minister could be moved to a hospital without prior consultation, a PTI spokesperson said any medical examination or treatment must take place in the presence of a family representative and trusted doctors. The party rejected any “secretive or unilateral” steps regarding his medical care.
The spokesperson also criticized delays in implementing written orders of the Supreme Court, calling for immediate treatment on humanitarian grounds. Any delay in medical care would be “inhumane and regrettable,” the statement said.
PTI further warned that the government would be held responsible if any harm came to its founding chairman’s health, stressing the need for transparency and compliance with court directives.
