Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk:The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League concluded in spectacular fashion at the Gaddafi Stadium, where Peshawar Zalmi defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final to lift their second PSL title.
The grand final was preceded by a colourful closing ceremony featuring fireworks and cultural performances, marking the end of another high-profile season of Pakistan’s premier T20 cricket league.
Star batter Babar Azam led the tournament’s batting charts with 588 runs, including two centuries, earning the prestigious Hanif Mohammad Cap for best batsman.
On the bowling front, Zalmi’s Sufiyan Muqeem emerged as the standout performer with 22 wickets, receiving the Fazal Mahmood Cap for best bowler.
Young talent Farhan Yousuf was named Best Fielder of the tournament, while Zalmi’s wicketkeeper Kooshal Mendis secured the Best Wicketkeeper award after a consistent campaign.
Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan was awarded Best All-Rounder for his impactful performances throughout the season.
In a dramatic highlight of the tournament, fast bowler Hunain Shah was named Emerging Player after defending six runs in the final over during Eliminator 2, helping Hyderabad Kingsmen reach the final.
Umpire Asif Yaqoob was also recognized for his outstanding officiating throughout the tournament.
