Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced that new venues will be added for the next season of the Pakistan Super League, aiming to expand the tournament’s reach and enhance fan engagement across the country.
Speaking to the media, Naqvi thanked the city of Lahore for its enthusiastic support during the PSL final, praising the disciplined crowd and the vibrant atmosphere at the Gaddafi Stadium.
He said cricket fans displayed exceptional passion and discipline, creating a memorable environment as both teams received overwhelming support throughout the match.
Naqvi added that the response from Lahore’s cricket-loving public was highly encouraging and demonstrated the city’s deep-rooted connection with the sport.
The PCB chairman further revealed that obtaining approval from the Prime Minister for crowd attendance was challenging due to concerns over fuel consumption and logistical arrangements. However, he noted that the leadership also showed interest in supporting the event.
Looking ahead, Naqvi expressed confidence that PSL 12 will be even bigger and better, with improved infrastructure, expanded venues, and enhanced fan experience across multiple cities.
