Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s armed forces have intensified cross-border operations under “Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq,” targeting positions linked to Afghan Taliban elements and militant groups, according to security sources.
Officials said Pakistani forces struck a Taliban post in the Torkham sector near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, destroying the installation. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to neutralize threats posed by militants referred to as “Fitna al-Khawarij” by Pakistani authorities.
Security sources added that the military would continue targeting militant hideouts and infrastructure until operational objectives are achieved.
Earlier, on the night of March 16, Pakistani forces reportedly conducted strikes on multiple locations in Kabul and Nangarhar. According to officials, two sites in Kabul associated with technical support infrastructure and ammunition storage were effectively destroyed.
The developments come amid rising tensions along the border, with Islamabad emphasizing its commitment to safeguarding national security and countering cross-border militancy.
