Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: The Pakistan Stock Exchange began the new trading week on a strong note, with equities posting sharp gains amid renewed investor confidence.
On Monday, the benchmark KSE-100 index surged by 3,275 points at the start of trading, reaching 166,269 points. The bullish momentum continued throughout the session, with the index rising further by 3,585 and then 3,895 points to touch an intraday high of 166,890 points.
Market analysts attributed the rally to sustained buying activity and improving investor sentiment, driven by expectations of economic stability and favorable market conditions.
The continued upward trend has strengthened confidence among investors, while trading volumes also recorded a notable increase, reflecting heightened market participation.
Experts say the strong performance signals growing optimism in Pakistan’s financial markets, although they caution that global economic factors and domestic policy developments will remain key drivers in the days ahead.
