Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep concern over recent attacks targeting Türkiye and Azerbaijan, reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity with the peoples of both nations.
In statements shared on social media, the prime minister described the attacks as reprehensible and warned that such actions risk further escalation, potentially undermining regional peace and stability. He emphasized that violence and coercion cannot resolve geopolitical disputes and called for restraint from all sides.
“Pakistan stands with our Turkish and Azerbaijani brothers and sisters during this difficult time,” the prime minister stated, highlighting longstanding ties between Islamabad and Ankara as well as cooperative relations with Baku.
Shehbaz Sharif urged dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred path to resolving tensions, stressing that respect for sovereignty and international norms remains essential for maintaining stability. He cautioned that continued hostilities could exacerbate regional insecurity and create broader humanitarian and economic consequences.
