Pakistan Army Destroys Afghan Posts After Civilian Shelling in Waziristan

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN – Web Desk: Pakistan’s security forces have foiled attempts by Fitna Al-Khawarij to incite unrest in South Waziristan, while also delivering a strong response to Afghan Taliban forces who allegedly targeted civilians following their failure to infiltrate, security sources said.

According to sources, Pakistan Army foiled infiltration attempts by Fitna Al-Khawarij in the Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan.

After the infiltration failure, Afghan Taliban forces targeted the civilian population in Angoor Adda’s Zallol Khel area, sources claimed. The firing resulted in injuries to three civilians, including two women, who were transferred to a hospital in Wana.

“Frustrated by their defeat, Afghan Taliban are targeting civilian populations,” security sources said. Pakistan Army launched retaliatory operations, destroying several Afghan posts, according to the sources.
